PRP (Platelete Rich Plasma) is a procedure in which concentrated healing products, from the patient's own blood, are injected into an injured site, such as tendons or in joint related surgeries, to help speed the healing process. It can also be used as an adjunct to arthritis to help minimize pain.

This procedure is commonly used in people so I'm sure many of you are familiar with it already.
