Dr. Peila , has been a fixture here since 1995. He was born and raised in Lyons, CO, attended Colorado State University, receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1988. After graduation, he practiced in the Pacific Northwest for several years before returning home. His interests include surgery, encompassing TPLO procedures, and he has a passion for managing chronic osteoarthritis problems in our older patients. He shares his home with his wife Stephanie, Louie, his Portuguese Water Dog/mini Aussie mix and Sam, a standard poodle . Outside of work, he tries to spend as much time on a river or in the woods as possible.
